Procedures Performed
  • Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Pictured here is a healthy 55 year old female patient who has some fullness in the hips with some skin redundancy.  She considered and discussed with Dr. Kenkel a Lower Body Lift vs Abdominoplasty and lipo. The patient was weight stable and a good candidate and decided to have an Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) and Liposuction at Dr. Kenkel's Dallas location. We removed 1500 cc of fat through liposuction of her hips and abdomen and 1.1 kg of skin and fat tissue from her abdomen.  Abdominoplasty can correct a sagging, protruding midsection when loose skin and lax abdominal muscles are often the result of pregnancy or significant weight loss and won't go away with diet and exercise. The patient is shown here 4 months post-surgery with pleasing results.
