Aging of the face is a complicated process that involves many variables. Some of which we can control and others that are just part of the “natural progression” That being said, it doesn’t mean we can’t fight it! Many of us feel that our appearance is not really reflective of what how we feel. Cosmetic medicine and surgery allows you to achieve this.

The aging of our face can be broken down into three key components:

Surface changes as a result of being exposed to the elements (sun, wind, etc).
Volume loss – gradual loss of fat in certain areas of our face over time.
Skin laxity and sagging – this is a result of both #1 and #2.

A detailed analysis of your face allows Dr Kenkel to determine exactly what aspects of your appearance may benefit from a treatment tailored to your specific needs.

Because we have so many different ways to enhance our appearance, the choice becomes quite personal. Options include everything from basic skin care, the use of injectables (botulinum toxin and fillers) to the other end of the spectrum, surgery. Dr Kenkel can sit down with you, speak to you about your concerns and goals, and discuss a spectrum of treatment options you will have to help you achieve your personal goals.
